My sweet Eddy Bear came to me as a tiny five week old kitten, found all alone on the side of the road in the cold of winter. I was fostering cats for a local rescue at the time and agreed to foster “Ed”, as he was known at the time. I was a foster failure and Eddy Bear was with me until passing away from malignant melanoma on Easter morning at the age of eight. Eddy Bear lived with his three feline brothers and three canine sisters at the time of his passing. He was such a handsome boy with long fluffy grey/blue fur. And he was a big boy coming in at over 20 pounds! Whenever he would see someone coming his way, he would plop down and roll onto his back so you could stop and rub his rolly poley belly as you walked by! Eddy Bear loved being out on the screened in porch, watching the birds, while hiding in one of his kitty cubes. My heart was broken at losing Eddy Bear, but I am was so blessed and happy to have shared his life.
